Koryo is a calming and delightful destination to serenade your appetite with some late night sushi. UNTIL 1:30 AM!!!... on weekdays, Koryo provides a legitimate lineup of sushi rolls, noodles, and other Japanese culinary staples. The service is subtly hospitable, stealthy with each water refill and clean napkin bestowal. This is a perfect spot to eat in peace!

The sushi at Koryo was most definitely commendable and reliable, but not worthy of sky high praise. If you've eaten a lot of good, fresh sushi, this place should fare better than worse on your list of favorites, but not too close to the top. However, it's definitely a great stop for a belated dinner! If you're unsure of what to order, I recommend selecting the Shrek Roll, the 49ers roll, and the Spicy Volcano Roll, which are all flavorsome options.

Sushi was good. But the restaurant is of questionable cleanliness. look no further than the curtain separating the sushi preparation area from the back room. It's literally black on one side. Then, standing right outside the door, are two guys smoking cigarettes. Cigarette smoke is blowing into the restaurant.

Service was slow but friendly. I won't be back here.

Cute vibe with the sushi bar and the Japanese anime going in the background on TV but I was not blown away by the sashimi quality and the rolls which often had either too much rice/ little fish, or the ever popular sriracha-mayo flavoring hidden in anything spicy .
This is a great  hole in the wall local spot for fast, late-night meal at a decent price. But it's not the place for a sushi / sashimi connoisseur.

The best thing going for this place is that it's open late. So, if you're a little drunky and want something other than fast food to feast on, it ain't a bad choice. Other than that, this place is average at BEST.

Came here with a friend after having a few drinks at a bar nearby. The interior consists of two adjoining rooms; the first room near the entrance that features a small sushi bar, and a second room that's strictly for dining. We got there just after 11:30 pm and there were only a few other people inside. The décor is pretty simple, nothing too fancy. I will point out that it was very cold inside. Service was pretty attentive and also very accommodating considering the fact that we were laughing our asses most of the time that we were there and stayed until closing time.

They have a late night happy hour that offers some pretty decent discounts on some of their appetizers and select sushi rolls. As far as the food goes, I really wasn't all that impressed. We ordered the following:

*HH Deep fried chicken karaage - Wasn't a fan. Had a weird taste and the consistency was way off.

*Mixed tempura: The only thing here that I thoroughly enjoyed. Nice and crispy tempura battered skin and the veggies tasted great!

*Rainbow roll: Just alright. It did not taste fresh at all but the portion was decent for the price.

*Salmon skin hand roll: It was pretty tasty but the roll was fairly small

*HH Gyoza: It was pretty good but nothing to write home about.

Another thing to note is that their restroom is scary as hell. Graffiti every damn where and it wasn't the cleanest. I would only use it if it's an emergency situation. All in all, this place was just okay. It's nothing that I'd ever go out of my way for. It was nice to try it, but I'll be sticking with the competition right across the street for my late night sushi eats.
